Asda Stores Ltd in Leeds is seeking a Buying Assistant to support the GM Home Textiles buyer. You will help with sales tracking, admin upkeep, supplier liaison and day-to-day trading activities to ensure accurate ranges and promotions.

The role offers a hybrid working pattern with at least three days in one of our Home Offices and a comprehensive benefits package. You will work closely with the Buying team to drive efficiency and value for customers.

Qualifications

• Support the Buyer in sales tracking and analysis.
• Keep admin up to date with line listings, costs and retail changes.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure deadlines and tasks are met.
• Impute into decisions on ranges and promotions; assist with competitor research.

You will support the Buyer in all areas, including sales tracking and analysis. It's important that you keep the admin up to date, including line listing, cost and retail changes and liaise with suppliers to ensure that they keep to deadlines and tasks. You will Impute into decisions on ranges and promotions and answer and resolve store/supplier queries. Other important tasks include raising and reconciling of internal and external invoices to the category and assisting the Buyer with competitor research and the day to day trading of your category.
