Job summary

Owen Daniels in Coventry is seeking an experienced Buyer to join its established Purchasing team. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and support sourcing and supplier performance for engineering components and services.

The role requires at least 3 years purchasing experience in manufacturing or engineering, with strong communication and ERP/MRP proficiency. Mon-Thu 8:00-16:45, Fri 8:00-15:00; permanent position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' purchasing experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience managing direct material suppliers and technical engineering commodities.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable working with ERP/MRP systems.
