Job description

Purpose Of The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced a Business Support Officer to provide efficient admin support to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • General office admin, diary management, purchasing goods and services
  • Supporting meetings and events, including note-taking
  • Handling phone enquiries and providing accurate information
  • Maintaining a positive and professional image of the council
  • Using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Experience Needed

  • Experience in a busy office setting
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience

Working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm on a 6 month contract initially
