Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

This is a permanent, part time post of 14.8 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Thursday and Friday (9am-5pm). Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.

A vacancy for a Band 3 Business Support Assistant has arisen within the Board’s Digital Therapies Team (computerised CBT Service). You’ll work within a small, highly motivated team of admin staff and Psychology staff to deliver a high quality, Digital Mental Health service to a high volume of service users. Your work will be allocated by the Assistant Support Manager/Coordinator.

You’ll be responsible for the provision of administrative business support for the team’s activities, ensuring the smooth running and efficiency of the Digital Therapies Team. You’ll be the first point of contact for referred patients to all Digital Therapy Programmes currently provided by our online portal, SilverCloud, and will action all inbound referrals, and respond to regular telephone, and face to face enquiries from all levels of internal staff and external organisations.

You’ll also support the generic functions and duties administered within the wider business support section as required. This includes daily management of the generic mailbox for Digital Therapies Team and also management of non-activators from the online programmes available. You will also action tasks as required on EMIS Web MH. Frequent liaison with colleagues from Primary Care to action any risk alerts highlighted. Ability to effectively time manage all designated tasks with due diligence and professionalism.
