A leading regulatory body in the UK is seeking a Business Support Administrator to provide essential administrative support across departments. The role involves managing diaries, coordinating meetings, and ensuring compliance with processes. Business Support Administrator
Salary: National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £25,000 to £33,333 and London £27,500 to £36,633 per annum (Salary offered will be based on skills and experience)

The Financial Promotions & Enforcement Taskforce (FPET) is a department that straddles the FCA’s regulatory perimeter. The department has a wide remit covering both authorised and unauthorised activities in all sectors. FPET’s overarching role is to reduce harm arising from:
Non-compliant financial promotions issued by authorised firms
Unauthorised activity, scams, fraud and breaches of the Financial Promotions Order by unauthorised entities
Scams and high-risk, non-standard investments where authorised firms are involved in the production and distribution of products.
Other unregulated activity conducted by authorised firms that has the potential to cause significant customer harm and financial loss
What will you be doing?
As a Business Support Administrator, you will provide support to the departmental management across three teams, providing administrative support.
Duties will include:
Diary and event management, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders to arrange numerous meetings within tight deadlines
Flexible, working with others to resolve conflicting priorities and deadlines in a busy office environment
Prepare documents and provide help and advice to colleagues
Covering the Head of Departments PA and other PBS when required
Making travel arrangements where necessary
Ensuring that your teams comply with local and FCA wide processes and procedures

Minimum
Ability to manage diaries, events, travel arrangements and documentation efficiently while ensuring compliance with processes
Experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate meetings and provide support across teams
Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment, resolving conflicting priorities and covering additional responsibilities when needed
Essential
Excellent IT skills, including sound knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and other similar packages, and able to get up to speed quickly with new systems
Ability to work on own initiative, prioritising, working under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy
Ability to support other team members with change
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload within tight deadline
Flexibility and a willingness to get things done
Act in an honest, open and transparent way, challenging when you see behaviour that goes against the cultural characteristics of the FCA and the Policy divisions
Influencing skills including being comfortable influencing at senior levels.
