Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Manager for a well‑established automotive dealership in Stockport, Greater Manchester. This role focuses on leading the finance and insurance function, supporting the sales team to maximise revenue, and driving customer-focused sales performance.

The ideal candidate will have proven F&I leadership in automotive retail, FCA compliance knowledge, and excellent relationship-building skills to deliver outstanding customer experiences

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Manager or Insurance (F&I) Manager in automotive retail.
• Strong knowledge of finance and insurance products and FCA regulations.
• Experience managing end-to-end vehicle sales processes.
• Track record of achieving finance, insurance, and profit targets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Customer-focused attitude with a professional and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance and insurance function within the dealership.
• Support sales team to maximise revenue from finance and insurance products.
• Drive sales performance and ensure high penetration of finance and insurance products.
• Support the development and implementation of sales strategies to improve profitability and customer retention.
• Ensure full FCA compliance and adherence to all sales and operational standards.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience throughout the buying process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, encouraging repeat business and referrals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure high standards of organisation within the department.
• Collaborate with the management team to drive overall business performance.
