Job summary

Stockport Nub News is seeking an ambitious Used Car Business Manager to join a franchised motor dealership in Stockport. You will maximise finance, insurance and add-on product performance while delivering an exceptional customer journey.

Working closely with the General Sales Manager and Used Car Sales Team, you will drive profitability, coach the sales team and ensure FCA compliance. The role offers a 31,750 base salary with a realistic OTE of 58,000+, permanent, full-time.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Manager/Transaction Manager or senior sales role in the motor trade.
• Strong knowledge of automotive finance and insurance products.
• Proven track record of achieving F&I targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Managing the finance and insurance process from enquiry through to vehicle handover
• Maximising finance penetration and ancillary product sales
• Ensuring all deals are structured effectively to achieve dealership profitability targets
• Supporting, coaching and developing the sales team
• Maintaining full FCA compliance throughout the sales process
• Working with lenders and finance partners to achieve the best outcomes for customers
• Monitoring daily and monthly performance against key KPIs
• Assisting with stock, pricing and vehicle merchandising strategies
• Delivering a first-class customer experience from start to finish

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Used Car Business Manager to join a successful and fast-paced dealership in Stockport.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced automotive sales professional who excels at maximising finance, insurance, and add-on product performance whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience. Working closely with the General Sales Manager and Used Car Sales Team, you will play a crucial role in driving profitability and ensuring every customer journey is handled professionally and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities

• Previous experience as a Business Manager, Transaction Manager or high-performing Senior Sales Executive within the motor trade
• Strong understanding of automotive finance and insurance products
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding F&I targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Professional, customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence
