Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking a Business Manager for Exeter to lead the sales team and drive finance and protection opportunities with customers. You will present products clearly and tailor options to customer needs while ensuring compliant sales practices.

The role requires prior automotive management experience and a strong grasp of finance, insurance, and regulatory requirements. A full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Business Manager, Transaction Manager or within Automotive Sales Management.
• Strong knowledge of automotive finance and insurance products.
• Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales Team in maximising vehicle, finance and protection opportunities.
• Present finance, insurance, warranty and protection products clearly to customers.
• Tailor finance and protection options to individual customer requirements.
• Ensure sales are completed compliantly and meet regulatory standards.
• Drive departmental performance against agreed sales and finance targets.
• Deliver a professional and transparent customer journey.
• Build strong working relationships with customers and the wider Sales Team.

Business Manager – Exeter

We are recruiting for an experienced Business Manager, Transaction Manager or Automotive Sales Manager to join a successful main dealership in Exeter. Applicants must have previous automotive Business Manager, Transaction Manager or sales management experience, strong knowledge of automotive finance, insurance and compliance, a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK.

Location: Exeter

Salary: £35,000 basic

OTE: £55,000
