Job summary

Vertu Land Rover Exeter is seeking an experienced Business Manager (F&I) to join our high‑performing team. You will lead financing and insurance sales, build tailored finance packages, and ensure FCA compliance while guiding customers through a smooth purchase journey.

You will collaborate with the sales team to drive performance, promote add‑ons, and deliver exceptional customer experience across new and used vehicle sales.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Manager / Transaction Manager / Sales Manager within automotive (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of finance and insurance products and compliance.
• Proven ability to influence, negotiate and close deals.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Building and presenting tailored finance packages to customers.
• Ensuring full compliance with FCA and insurance regulations.
• Supporting the sales team through the ActiveSales process.
• Driving performance against departmental targets.
• Maximising sales of finance, warranty, GAP, paint protection and insurance products.
• Delivering an outstanding customer experience throughout the purchase journey.
• Supporting both new and used vehicle sales.

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role, you will have:
