Job summary

Vertu Land Rover Exeter is seeking a Business Manager to support the sales team by selling finance, insurance and add-on products. You will present tailored packages while ensuring FCA compliance and guiding customers through the purchase journey.

The role requires proven finance product knowledge, strong negotiation skills and a full UK driving licence, with a view to driving profitability and customer satisfaction across new and used vehicle sales.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Manager / Transaction Manager / Sales Manager in automotive is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of finance and insurance products and compliance.
• Proven ability to influence, negotiate and close deals.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Build and present tailored finance packages to customers.
• Ensure compliance with FCA and insurance regulations.
• Support sales team through the ActiveSales process.
• Drive performance against departmental targets.
• Maximise sales of finance, warranty, GAP, paint protection and insurance products.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience throughout the purchase journey.
• Support both new and used vehicle sales.

What you’ll be doing

As a Business Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the sales team and maximising profitability through the sale of finance, insurance and add-on products.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and presenting tailored finance packages to customers
• Ensuring full compliance withFCA and insurance regulations
• Supporting the sales team through theActiveSales process
• Driving performance against departmental targets

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role, you will have:
