Job Opportunity: Business Studies Lecturer

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated Lecturers in Business Studies across Birmingham to join us. You will be teaching a range of business courses for adults and young people, including BTEC.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver the full Further Education and Training specification as the main Lecturer for your class or group.
2. Plan and coordinate lessons, resources, and support to enable learners to achieve their qualifications.
3. Utilize the College's online systems to track progress and attendance.
4. Deliver quality, interactive lessons with clear objectives.
5. Motivate and inspire learners using up-to-date teaching methodologies.
6. Ensure accurate completion of class registers, manage admin work, and marking.
7. Perform any other duties as required by the College.

Candidate Requirements:

• Substantial experience in the Further Education and Training sector.
• Hold a UK-recognized teaching qualification (e.g., DTLLS, PCET, PGCE, or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Education).
• Previous experience as a Lecturer or Teacher with a successful record in retention and achievement.
• GCSEs in Maths and English at grade A-C or equivalent.
• A valid DBS registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for one.
• Proven experience of consistently delivering good or outstanding teaching.
