Job Opportunity: Business Lecturer

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated Lecturers in Business Studies across Derbyshire to join us, teaching on a range of business courses for adults and young people, including BTEC.

Job Title: Business Lecturer

Job Type: Permanent

Duties:

1. Delivering the full Further Education and Training specification as the main Lecturer for the class or group
2. Planning and coordinating lessons, resources, and support to enable learners to achieve their qualifications
3. Using the College's online systems to track progress and attendance
4. Providing quality, interactive lessons with clear objectives
5. Motivating and inspiring learners using up-to-date teaching methodologies
6. Ensuring accurate completion of class registers, staying on top of admin work and marking
7. Performing any other duties as required by the College

Candidate Requirements:

• Substantial experience in the Further Education and Training sector
• UK-recognized teaching qualification (DTLLS, PCET, PGCE, or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Education)
• Previous experience as a Lecturer or Teacher with a successful record in retention and achievement
• GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade A-C or equivalent
• A valid DBS registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for one
• Proven experience of delivering consistently good or outstanding teaching
