This role operates primarily on a remote working arrangement that will require little to no travel into our Campuses. However our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts (Birmingham, Coventry, Leeds, London or Manchester).

About our Department:

The School of Psychology has grown significantly over the last few years, and our journey continues. The MSc in Business Psychology sits in the School of Psychology, alongside other undergraduate and postgraduate psychology courses.

About the Opportunity:

The Lecturer in Business Psychology job role sits in the School of Psychology. Our MSc Business Psychology academic team has a diverse range of experiences from working in academia, as practitioners and working in industry. The focus for our Lecturers in Business Psychology is on developing students in both discipline knowledge and applied skills to make them employer-ready when they graduate from us.

About You:

To be successful as a Lecturer in Business Psychology you must have:

  • An MSc or equivalent formal qualification in Psychology, and be recognised by the BPS as having a Graduate Basis for Chartership.
  • Be experienced in current and effective teaching, learning and assessment practices in Higher Education, and be able to bring your knowledge and understanding to Arden to grow our programmes and provide excellent student outcomes.
  • Be able to evidence your successful experience of working in programme teams and of being a creative and inspiring lecturer and colleague.
  • Experience or knowledge in Business or Occupational Psychology.
  • Experienced in teaching research methods, particularly in psychology is an advantage
  • Experience in dissertation supervision and teaching research methods, particularly in psychology is an advantage
