What is the opportunity?

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in any of our offices as Business Development Sales Support on a 12-month FTC basis.

This role involves providing proactive relationship management and assistance to the Head of Nationals & Networks and Key Account Managers to enhance growth within the Intermediary market.

What will you do?

  • Make inbound and outbound calls, send emails, manage campaigns, and handle inbound inquiries from Advisers nationally.
  • Ensure all Adviser data and activities are updated in our internal systems.
  • Act as liaison between BDMs, Advisers, and Investment Managers.
  • Attend and prepare for Adviser meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Provide contact data for national firm distribution.
  • Participate in strategy meetings to plan activities.
  • Coordinate with Compliance, Marketing, and Event teams for various activities.
  • Distribute communications to BDMs & Advisers.
  • Engage in ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Follow-up on new business and literature requests to generate leads.
  • Identify and pass on new sales opportunities.
  • Support new IFA relationships and ongoing account servicing.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Experience in sales teams and knowledge of the Adviser market.
  • Understanding of regulatory and financial issues.
  • Basic compliance and risk awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Financial Clarity and FE Analytics.
  • Knowledge of RBC BD investment propositions.
