Role Title: Business Development Partner – Regulatory Services
Reporting into: Business Development Partner - Team Lead
Overview / Purpose of the position
  • Reporting to the Business Development Partner Team Leader and working closely with key stakeholders, namely the commercial and delivery teams.
  • To provide administrative commercial support to the Global Regulatory Services Business Development Team and front-line client service.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Receive, prioritise and process sales briefings received from the business development team.
  • Prepare client correspondence including quotations and associated contract documents.
  • Receive, prioritise, verify and process client applications.
  • Work with the business development and delivery teams to manage the quotation approval process and related queries.
  • Process fully approved client applications (sales packs) to the operations team for delivery.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and manage departmental inboxes.
  • Collaborate with the sales support team leader to plan, implement initiatives, and monitor performance.
  • Work collaboratively within own group and across departments.
  • Provide general administrative support to the business development department.
  • Support and train the global sales support administration team as needed.
  • Undertake specific project work as required.
  • Perform any other duties reasonably within the scope of the role.
Key Success / Performance Indicators:
  • Accuracy of data and documents within deadlines.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a commercial or customer-focused role, preferably in Life Sciences.
  • Degree in a related field, ideally Life Sciences.
  • Ownership and resolution of problems to customer satisfaction.
  • Quality of service as per KPIs.
  • Efficient management of sales briefings and commercial requests.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of quotations and orders.
  • Data entry accuracy.
  • Timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
  • Effective collaboration with Commercial and Delivery Teams.
