Job Description:

Job Title: UK/European Business Development Manager

Location: London

Purpose:

  • Drive net inflows into investment products from UK/European investors

Responsibilities:

  • Drive investment into funds from UK/European clients
  • Service existing clients in the UK/Europe
  • Negotiate and conclude commercial terms with clients
  • Identify routes to market access (roadshows, meetings, conferences)
  • Maintain regulatory and licensing requirements
  • Consider strategic service providers to enhance offerings
  • Promote the brand and partner funds to various entities (pension funds, platforms, funds of funds, family offices, etc.)
  • Provide regular feedback and reporting to clients
  • Maintain technical knowledge of the funds and business

Qualities:

  • 5+ years of Business Development experience in asset management within the UK and/or Europe
  • Institutional Business Development experience
  • Professional self-starter with a passion for financial markets
  • Works well within a high-performance team
  • Demonstrable track record of investment acumen, work ethic, and success
  • Valuable: industry research and portfolio analysis skills

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of BCom or similar qualification
  • Professional qualification preferable (e.g., CFA, CAIA, CA)
  • Excellent capital markets knowledge
  • Ability to work unsupervised from home
