Job Title: Business Development Manager – Europe (Construction & Engineering Sector)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive our continued growth across Europe in the construction and engineering sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in business development within civil, commercial, or industrial construction and possess a deep understanding of infrastructure and engineering-led project environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Europe in the construction and engineering sectors, including commercial builds, infrastructure, and industrial projects.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers including developers, contractors, design consultants, and end-clients.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams to create targeted sales strategies aligned with ECC Group’s core capabilities and growth objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and analyse market data to identify opportunities and mitigate potential risks within construction and engineering markets.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the development and delivery of compelling proposals, tenders, and presentations that showcase ECC Group’s experience, innovation, and value.
  • Performance Tracking: Measure sales activity and progress against targets, adjusting strategies to ensure performance goals are met.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in business development within the construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with ECC Group’s operational sectors, including commercial, healthcare, industrial, and public sector construction projects.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and client engagement abilities.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contract and procurement processes.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to operate autonomously.
  • Strategic thinking and market research capabilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
