Company Overview:

The Green Recruitment Company is partnering with an international Cleantech start-up that operates an award-winning SaaS simulation platform providing bespoke solutions to design, manage, and optimise clean energy projects.

The company has received additional funding for expansion and is looking to grow their London office by hiring an experienced Commercial Manager for UK/EU clean energy markets (Smart grid, Cleantech, BESS, etc.).

This role involves supporting global decarbonisation strategies by creating partnerships with energy suppliers, asset owners, and cleantech consultancies, playing a vital role in UK & European growth.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Qualifying and developing a pipeline of prospective opportunities with energy suppliers, asset owners, and cleantech consultancies.
2. Demonstrating how their cutting-edge software supports investments in energy transition technologies such as battery storage, renewable energy, and e-mobility.
3. Acting as an internal ambassador, creating account development plans, and sharing customer feedback with the product team.
4. Attending events to enhance brand presence.
5. Managing contracting and onboarding processes.
6. Contributing to and maintaining go-to-market strategies and processes.

Job Requirements:

• Confident individual with a strong commercial mindset.
• At least 4 years of experience in UK or EU energy markets, ideally with Smart grid, Microgrid, DER technologies (BESS, EV Infra, EV fleet, etc.).
• At least 4 years in a commercial management role or similar.
• Experience with software/SaaS products.
• Proven ability to nurture strong client relationships.
• Ideally experienced in scale-up environments.
