Title: Business Development Manager (Commercial Solar)

Job Type: Permanent

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced and talented Business Development Manager to join their sales team. They are a leading company in the renewable energy and commercial solar industry.

Your role will involve generating a database of potential clients and selling solar products. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, understanding client needs, presenting solutions, and closing deals.

You will report progress, collaborate with senior management and the design team on project feasibility, and maintain strong client relationships from initial contact to successful installation.

All activities will be tracked in HubSpot CRM for effective communication.

Responsibilities:
  1. Identify potential solar/VO clients through research and outreach (networking, social media, etc.).
  2. Generate your own leads.
  3. Meet with clients (on-site or via Zoom) to assess their needs.
  4. Stay updated on solar/VO industry news.
  5. Meet and exceed sales targets for activity and conversion rates.
  6. Build strong relationships with clients and industry contacts.
  7. Monitor industry trends and competitors.
Requirements & Skills:
  1. Experience as a Business Development Manager.
  2. Experience in the commercial solar PV industry.
