Job summary

The ExcluSec Group is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow our security and soft services portfolio from our Bolton head office. You will identify new opportunities, build relationships with prospective clients and secure profitable contracts across the North West and beyond.

Based at our Bolton head office, you will lead tender responses, manage pricing and documents, and ensure successful contract awards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development with a track record of securing profitable contracts.
• Experience preparing, writing and submitting competitive tenders.
• Experience within security, facilities management or a similar service industry.
• Strong bid-writing and response skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the North West and beyond.
• Generate leads through prospecting, networking and direct contact with potential clients.
• Arrange and attend client meetings to understand requirements and present services.
• Prepare professional proposals, quotations and presentations.
• Identify tender opportunities and manage submissions from review to final submission.
• Review tender specifications and coordinate pricing and documents.
• Ensure bids meet submission requirements and deadlines, including electronic portals.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact to contract award.
• Maintain a sales pipeline and report on opportunities and results.
• Work with operations to ensure new contracts are profitable and handed over smoothly.
• Develop relationships with existing clients for extra services.
