Business Development Manager – Digital Advertising – Northeast London
Business Development Manager job for one of the UK’s leading and multi-award-winning exhibition and publishing companies. You will be joining their fast-growing and market leading information and marketing platform, offering the latest industry updates and insights across a range of sectors, with over 1 million subscribers to date. The role will be selling tailored marketing, digital and custom content solutions.
Currently a team of just over 100, they have won multiple awards for their B2B and consumer events, they are renowned for delivering exciting and engaging, content and shows, attracting over 1m visitors every year. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and fun team working with for a market leading AI platform at an exciting growth phase, offering further scope for progression.
About the role:
- Driving new customer acquisition over the phone and face to face
- Selling bespoke digital, marketing and content solutions tailored to the client’s requirements
- Provide accurate sales reports and forecasts
- Maintain up to date knowledge of all products as they develop
- Mentor other team members
- Liaise with other internal teams including marketing, data and product
- Attend relevant events for networking and lead generation.
The ideal candidate:
- 3+ years’ experience in media sales
- Digital media and advertising is preferred
- New business driven
- Confident face to face and over the phone
- Demonstrable track record of meeting revenue targets
- Highly organised.
