Focus Group, a fast-growing UK tech scale-up, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the UK market. You will prospect, qualify and close opportunities in a high-performance environment, selling AI-powered solutions to demand-driven customers.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably complex or solution-based selling.
• Hunter mentality with energy for new accounts and cold outreach.
• Resilience with autonomy and ownership of results.
• Coachable with a growth mindset; telecoms, IT, or cyber security background a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: Research territory and run outbound campaigns to convert cold prospects into opportunities.
• Consultative selling: Run discovery calls and face-to-face meetings; tailor solutions to business problems.
• Closing deals: Navigate complex B2B cycles with multiple stakeholders and close on value.
• Account growth: Cross-sell, upsell and generate referrals to build long-term partnerships.
