Job description

As a Business Development Manager at CareLoop Health, you will take the lead in building and converting a high-value pipeline of commercial opportunities in the UK healthcare market. This is a market-making role, focused on identifying unmet needs, opening new doors, and driving the adoption of CareLoop’s digital platform. You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping and executing our commercial strategy, laying the foundations for sustainable growth.

You will be responsible for generating, nurturing, and converting new business leads with NHS Mental Health Trusts and provider collaboratives, and navigating the evolving NHS landscape to develop regional or national opportunities, and potentially private health organisations as well.

You’ll craft compelling narratives, build trust with senior stakeholders, and convert early-stage conversations into long-term commercial partnerships. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is energised by breaking new ground, and brings a strategic, consultative and collaborative approach to healthcare sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, research, and engage new commercial opportunities across NHS and private healthcare ecosystems.
  • Working with the leadership and cross functions, develop and manage a proactive outbound sales strategy, including cold outreach, campaigns, events, networking and partner channels.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects, tracking progress from first contact through to signed agreement.
  • Establish CareLoop as a trusted partner in evolving market of digital mental health, shaping demand and creating urgency.

Opportunity Conversion & Commercial Delivery

  • Lead client discovery, scoping, and proposal development, ensuring alignment between client needs and CareLoop’s offer.
  • Manage the full sales process from initial engagement through to contracting and successful handover to delivery teams.
  • Work with leadership to negotiate pricing and terms with commercial acumen, balancing client value with sustainable business outcomes.
  • Track key deal metrics and own individual revenue targets aligned to overall business growth goals.

Strategic Influence & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers, influencers, clinicians and budget holders across the health system.
  • Develop insight-led sales narratives that address system-level pain points such as workforce strain, access, and health outcomes.
  • Feed market intelligence into product and leadership teams to shape proposition development and pricing strategy.
  • Represent CareLoop at relevant conferences, roundtables, and partner meetings to increase visibility and uncover leads.
