Custom Heat Ltd is a family-owned business established in 1980 and proudly the UK’s largestWorcester Bosch accredited service partner. We install, maintain, and future-proof heating and renewable systems across residential and commercial properties—from local homes to Windsor Castle and the Aston Martin F1 Team HQ.

We are now expanding across theSouth Westand are seeking a motivatedBusiness Development Managerto help drive growth, establish key partnerships, and promote our outstanding services across this new region.

Your Role at a Glance

You’ll be the face ofCustom Heat South West, responsible for developing strategic relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and helping position Custom Heat as a trusted heating and renewables partner in the region.

As part of our growing national team, you’ll collaborate closely with our Directors and internal departments to align sales, operations, and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and manage B2C and B2B opportunities across the South West
  • Build partnerships with housing developers, estate agents, energy consultants, and commercial clients
  • Promote our full suite of heating and renewable services—includingboilers, air source heat pumps, and solar PV
  • Attend site visits, networking events, and customer meetings
  • Provide accurate forecasts and support project handovers to installation teams
  • Represent Custom Heat at exhibitions, industry events, and customer presentations

What You’ll Bring

  • A solid track record in business development, sales, or account management (preferably within heating, plumbing, or renewables)
  • Commercial awareness of the renewables sector and sustainability trends
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • A proactive, target-driven attitude and a genuine passion for energy innovation
  • Willingness to split your time between Rugby HQ and the South West region
