Job Description:

Our client, a leader in commercial Solar PV and Voltage Optimisation solutions, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth. With offices in Exeter and Leeds, they are committed to supporting the UK's transition to net-zero. As they expand, they seek a motivated, results-driven professional to join their dynamic team.

The Business Development Manager will focus on identifying new sales opportunities within the Solar PV and Voltage Optimisation markets. Responsibilities include generating leads via networking, social media, and sales tools, setting meetings, conducting discovery sessions, and closing deals. Maintaining a strong pipeline, recording activities in HubSpot CRM, and attending industry events are also key.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the Commercial PV sector, be self-motivated, results-oriented, and proficient with HubSpot CRM. Knowledge of PPA agreements is a plus. If you're positive, adaptable, and enjoy building long-term relationships, this role is a great fit.

The Role

  • Set up meetings, conduct discovery sessions, and close sales with prospective clients.
  • Maintain an active pipeline and record all activities in HubSpot CRM.
  • Attend industry events and trade fairs to stay updated with trends and expand your network.

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, ideally in the Commercial PV industry.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and capable of exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in HubSpot CRM; knowledge of PPA agreements is a plus.
  • Positive, approachable, and a strong team player who builds lasting client relationships.
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to handle challenges and keep moving forward.
