Role Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning SaaS business as a Business Development Manager.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager who will have responsibility for implementing our ambitious sales strategy, and for identifying and developing new business opportunities. This is a new role to expand our existing team of business development and marketing colleagues, reporting to the Head of Business Growth.

This is a full-time Business Development Manager role with flexible remote work options. The ideal candidate will be based in or around the North-west.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with customers, and following industry trends. The Business Development Manager will also create and deliver presentations, attend networking events, and stay up-to-date with competitor activities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven work ethic, with an ability to work independently and remotely
  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative to meet agreed targets
  • Demonstrable ability to meet and exceed business development and sales targets
  • Knowledge of CRM tools and experience with customer relationship management
  • Experience in B2B sales and business development
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to understand, use, and interpret customer information to inform sales activities
  • Ability to organize work on multiple projects/accounts at once
  • Ability to develop and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to customers
  • Experience in the technology sector is a plus
