Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to accelerate our growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record in sales and client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy targeting Bevec’s core sectors (pharmaceuticals, insurance, technology, and FMCG).
Identify, approach, and secure new clients through proactive outreach (cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn networking, and in-person meetings).
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using a CRM system, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Present Bevec’s event services to potential clients, creating customised proposals and pitching solutions that align with client needs.
Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Regularly report on sales performance, client feedback, and market insights to the leadership team.
Objectives and KPIs:
Achieve a monthly revenue target of £X in new client contracts.
Maintain a conversion rate of at least 20% on qualified leads.
Build and manage a sales pipeline of £X at any given time.
Conduct a minimum of 30 client outreach activities per week (calls, emails, meetings).
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within the events or marketing industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
Familiarity with Bevec’s core industries (pharmaceuticals, insurance, technology, and FMCG) is a strong advantage.
