Adore Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing procurement and supply chain team supporting the UK hospitality sector. This field-based role focuses on winning new clients across pubs, restaurants, hotels, bars and leisure venues.

You will manage a structured sales pipeline from initial meeting to signed contract, collaborating with Account Management, Commercial and Operations to ensure excellent service and value for supplier partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Proven field-based business development or sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of the UK hospitality sector.
  • Experience selling to pubs, restaurants, hotels, bars or leisure venues.
  • Demonstrated success in winning new business and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
  • Strong organisational and territory management skills.
  • Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.

Business Development Manager

Location: Field-Based (UK)
Reporting to: Operations Director
Head Office: Ongar, Essex – monthly visits required

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join a growing procurement and supply chain business supporting the UK hospitality industry.

This field-based role focuses primarily on winning new hospitality clients and developing long-term commercial relationships across pubs, restaurants, hotels, bars and leisure venues.

You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing a structured sales pipeline and guiding prospective clients through a consultative sales process, from initial meeting through to signed agreement and successful onboarding.

Working closely with the Account Management, Commercial and Operations teams, you will play a key role in growing the client base while ensuring customers receive exceptional service and value from supplier partnerships.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with hospitality sector experience to join a dynamic and growing procurement business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the hospitality sector
  • Manage your own sales territory and prospect pipeline

Essential Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience in field-based business development or sales
  • Strong understanding of the UK hospitality sector
  • Experience selling into pubs, restaurants, hotels, bars or leisure venues
  • Demonstrated success in winning new business and managing a sales pipeline
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with decision-makers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Highly self-motivated with a proactive and positive approach
  • Strong organisation and territory management skills
  • Competent using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Full, clean UK driving licence

Location & Travel

This is a field-based role covering an assigned territory within the UK hospitality market.

Regular travel is required, with monthly visits to the Head Office in Ongar, Essex.
