Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is seeking a true Business Development Manager to generate new business from a zero base in the UK, selling a wide range of packaging machinery to food and beverage markets. You will target high-value technical solutions across VFFS baggers, bottling lines, case packers, and palletisers.

There are realistic first and second year targets along with full support for applications, project management, and admin.

Qualifications

• Must have proven track record of new business development.
• Must have sold packaging machinery to food and/or beverage markets.
• Ideally has a technical or engineering background.
• Ambitious to build and manage a UK Sales and Service office within 3–5 years.

Job Description

A true Business Development Manager role from a zero base in the UK, your job will be to identify and generate new business selling a large range of packaging machinery as a high value technical solution including VFFS Baggers, Bottling Lines, Case Packers and Palletisers to the food and beverage markets.

There are very realistic first and second year targets and full applications, project management and administration support will be provided.

Person Specification

• You MUST be an experienced field sales person with a proven track record of new business development and be willing and able to generate new business from a zero base.
• You MUST have sold or be selling packaging machinery to the food and/or beverage markets.
• Ideally you will have a technical or engineering background.
• You will be ambitious and wanting to build and manage a UK Sales and Service office in 3 to 5 years.

Salary

BASIC SALARY: up to £75,000

Benefits

• Bonus and Commission to earn circa £14,000 in year one and circa £25,000 in year two
• Company Car or Car Allowance
• Negotiable Pension and Healthcare

Location

Home based role - you can live anywhere in the UK but a central location is preferred to enable you to cover the UK & Ireland
