Position Title:

Business Development Manager – Pharmaceutical Testing & Quality Services

Location:

Flexible within the UK (Remote / Hybrid with travel to client sites and company labs)

We are a rapidly growing international network of laboratories providing high-quality analytical, microbiological, and regulatory services to the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare sectors. Our mission is to ensure patient safety and product quality through excellence in scientific testing and regulatory compliance.

Role Overview:

As a Business Development Manager within our Pharmaceutical Division, you will drive commercial growth by identifying, developing, and managing new and existing client relationships across the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sectors. You’ll play a strategic role in expanding our footprint in the GMP lab services space, supporting clients from R&D through to commercial release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow pharma accounts across key markets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in analytical testing, microbiology, stability studies, regulatory services, and QP release.
  • Build long-term partnerships with pharma, biotech, and CDMO clients.
  • Coordinate with internal technical experts and laboratory teams to craft tailored proposals.
  • Attend key industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Collaborate with marketing to drive targeted campaigns and lead generation.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development within the pharmaceutical services industry.
  • Solid understanding of GMP regulations and pharmaceutical testing workflows.
  • Strong network within pharma and biotech sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel (30–50%).
