Ernest Gordon Recruitment in Manchester is seeking a Business Development Manager for structural steel. You will head up sales for a leading manufacturer and steelwork installers, covering a northern patch and onboarding new business via a vast client base.

The role offers hybrid work with progression opportunities, and a package including a £50k–£60k base (OTE £70k), enhanced pension, annual bonus, car allowance, fuel card and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Experience selling and tendering structural steel products.
• Ability to develop sales plans and maintain a healthy pipeline.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsabilités

• Manage sales territory across Midlands and North of England.
• Develop existing accounts while generating new business opportunities.
• Visit new and existing clients to build long-term relationships.
• Prepare sales plans and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
