Our Fintech & Financial Services Business Development Lead will be responsible for driving business growth across both UK & European markets.
This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and leading sales initiatives to expand Superscripts Fintech/FS footprint.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Fintech/FS landscape, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record in new business development!
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the Fintech/ FS market.
Identify, engage, and secure new clients in the Fintech/FS space, including joint ventures and market expansion initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Lead sales efforts, including pipeline management, lead generation, and deal closure.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing & Partnerships to align business development efforts with company goals, including delivery RFP’s.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Monitor and report on key business development metrics and performance indicators.
5+ years experience in senior business development, new business & strategic client relationship management within the Fintech or Financial Services market.
Strong understanding of UK & European business regulations, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Proven track record of successfully closing deals and driving revenue growth.
Experience negotiating and building relationships with key stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel as required.
