Business Development Lead - Fintech & Financial Services

About the role

Our Fintech & Financial Services Business Development Lead will be responsible for driving business growth across both UK & European markets.

This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and leading sales initiatives to expand Superscripts Fintech/FS footprint.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Fintech/FS landscape, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record in new business development!

What you'll get up to
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the Fintech/ FS market.

  • Identify, engage, and secure new clients in the Fintech/FS space, including joint ventures and market expansion initiatives.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.

  • Lead sales efforts, including pipeline management, lead generation, and deal closure.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing & Partnerships to align business development efforts with company goals, including delivery RFP’s.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

  • Monitor and report on key business development metrics and performance indicators.

About you
  • 5+ years experience in senior business development, new business & strategic client relationship management within the Fintech or Financial Services market.

  • Strong understanding of UK & European business regulations, market trends, and competitive landscape.

  • Proven track record of successfully closing deals and driving revenue growth.

  • Experience negotiating and building relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to travel as required.
