Job description

A city-based investment management house has ambitious plans for the new year and is bolstering its sales team across all levels. In line with these plans, two new roles have been created for junior sales professionals to join as Business Development Associates. This is a great opportunity for someone who has recently started a career in sales and is eager to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding investment house.

Responsibilities:
  1. Working closely with external BDMs, offering ongoing support and management to their clients (current and prospective).
  2. Liaising with internal and external parties to ensure effective communication regarding inbound contacts, requests for literature and investor information, and other communications such as processing investor application forms, mailouts, and certificates.
  3. Handling telephone queries from financial intermediaries and investors, and taking appropriate actions.
  4. Helping to increase fundraising through proactive measures such as cold calling to arrange meetings and supporting initiatives as agreed with the Head of Business Development.
  5. Attending roadshows and events alongside the BDM, acting as an ambassador for the investments business.
  6. Collaborating with the Client Services and Marketing teams to support the BDMs effectively.
  7. Supporting the Business Development team with client relations tasks as needed.
