Job Description:

Function:

The Business Consultant will work with the customer and Itineris teams to ensure the successful implementation of the UMAX solution by managing customer needs from a business and market regulations perspective. They will provide business and market guidance to application consultants and support mediation decisions with the customer.

The role is based in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem), UK, or EIR and requires experience in the Irish market (ROI and NIE). ERP implementation experience is a plus.

UMAX is a cloud-based software solution for water and energy utilities, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, automating business processes and enhancing customer engagement.

As a Business Consultant with market experience (EIR), you will:

• Serve as the link between Business and IT as a business-focused analyst.
• Manage customer expectations and support functional experts in translating business needs into functional requirements.
• Attend workshops and meetings onsite with clients.
• Provide feedback to product development, sales, and marketing.
• Contribute to the evolution of the UMAX solution for market readiness.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, sales, pre-sales, product, and project delivery teams.
• Participate in project progress meetings and identify risk areas proactively.
• Deliver high-quality consulting services to customers.
• Collaborate with colleagues to upskill in industry best practices, especially in the Irish energy market (ROI & NIE).
• Continuously develop and transfer knowledge about the Utility market in Ireland.

What you bring:

• Strong analytical skills (master’s degree or equivalent experience).
• In-depth knowledge of the Irish energy market.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Business/Functional Consultant in large ERP/CRM projects.
• Expertise in business requirements gathering and understanding customer processes.
• Skills in Business Process management.
• Excellent English communication skills; Dutch is a plus.
