Job summary

Barclays in Northampton is seeking a proactive Business Analyst to join a major digital transformation program operating in an Agile environment. You will bridge old and new ways, drive continuous delivery, rapid iterations, and feature enhancements from day one.

You will join a collaborative BA team and take ownership of outcomes in transaction banking projects, including tokenisation and digital wallet initiatives, while coordinating with Product Owners, QA, and developers.

Qualifications

• Strong domain knowledge in Transaction Banking, GTB and Corporate Payments.
• Proven Agile delivery experience; ability to write clear User Stories and manage backlogs in Jira.
• Ability to balance compliance mapping with product feature development.
• Excellent stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration with Product Owners, Testers, Developers and senior leaders.
• Self-starter with proactive ownership; able to drive projects without upfront training.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business requirements into User Stories and acceptance criteria in Jira for engineering execution.
• Map legacy systems to modern Agile workflows.
• Lead end-to-end business analysis for GTB, Corporate Payments and transaction banking projects (tokenisation and digital wallet).
• Drive regulatory/compliance mapping alongside innovative product features.
• Work with Product Owners to prioritize features, manage iterations, and refine backlog.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure quality and alignment with business outcomes.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, aligning on scope and milestones.
