Arriva Ashington is hiring a Trainee Bus Driver to start your bus driving career at our Ashington depot, serving the local community with reliable transport. You will train at Arriva Training School, earn your PCV licence, and progress with CPC training as you gain experience.

Shifts start early and run through the day on a rotating pattern; full training is provided, with potential for career progression into management or specialist driver roles within Arriva.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old for Ashington depot.
• Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Will need undergo a drug and alcohol test before your assessment.
• Will need to pass an English comprehension test.
• Great people skills.
• Flexibility as shifts can start as early as 4AM and run no later than 1AM.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate buses to transport passengers on assigned routes.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers as needed.
• Complete shifts as per rotating pattern and maintain punctuality and safety.
