Job summary

Arriva Blyth is seeking a Trainee Bus Driver to start a rewarding career driving buses and serving the local community. Full training will be provided to obtain or upgrade your PCV license, with ongoing development and career opportunities within Arriva.

You’ll follow a rotating 5-in-7 shift pattern with early mornings, weekends, and occasional bank holidays, earning a competitive hourly rate with progression over time. A strong focus on safety and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Must pass a drug and alcohol test before assessment.
• Must pass an English comprehension test.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses on assigned routes to connect customers to destinations.
• Provide good customer service and assist passengers as needed.
• Complete shifts according to a rotating pattern and attend training as required.
