PSR Solutions is currently recruiting a Building Services Manager for major construction projects in Birmingham. You will oversee M&E installation, commissioning and handover, guiding a multidisciplinary team to deliver on programme, budget and safety requirements.

The role requires proven experience in building services leadership, strong M&E knowledge, and the ability to coordinate contractors and consultants.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Building Services Manager or similar.
• Strong understanding of M&E systems in construction.
• Experience delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, or mixed-use projects.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate specialist subcontractors.
• Excellent technical, organisational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the M&E elements from installation through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate Mechanical & Electrical packages across project delivery.
• Review drawings, specifications, and commissioning strategies.
• Chair M&E coordination and progress meetings.
• Ensure building services installations meet quality standards.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Manage client, consultant and subcontractor relationships.
• Promote and maintain Health & Safety across M&E activities.
