Job summary

Involve Recruitment is seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to lead MEPS across design and build projects, ensuring safe, compliant and well-coordinated delivery from pre-construction through commissioning and handover. The role provides technical leadership and accountability for buildability and quality.

You will manage specialist supply chains and multidisciplinary teams, drive programme and handover, and maintain the golden thread of project information while safeguarding safety

Qualifications

• Proven MEP management experience on design-and-build projects.
• Strong technical knowledge across building services and commissioning.
• Experience managing specialist supply chains and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, coordination and commercial awareness.
• A proactive approach to safety, quality and compliance.
• Relevant building-services qualifications or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP design coordination, buildability and technical assurance.
• Manage specialist subcontractors, consultants, procurement and installation.
• Drive programme, quality, commissioning and handover.
• Manage interfaces across architectural, structural and specialist disciplines.
• Support commercial control, change management and value engineering.
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, CDM 2015 and Building Safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate project information and the “golden thread”.
• Provide clear technical leadership and challenge where safety, quality or compliance are at risk.
