Job summary

A leading company in engineering recruitment is seeking a Building Services Engineer for a permanent position in Poole, Dorset. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial building services maintenance with electrical bias, holding at least a level 2 qualification and preferably level 3. This role involves working on a medium-sized static site, focusing on both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.

Job description

Position: Building Services Engineer

Location: Poole, Dorset

Duration: Permanent

Salary: from £38,000 to £40,000

We are looking for an experienced Building Services Engineer for a full time, permanent position based in Dorset

This engineer will be working as a team on a medium sized static site in Poole.

The right person for this position will already have a strong multi skilled building services background, we would like them to be more electrical bias holding at least level 3 with 18th edition. It would be a major advantage if this person is holding a level 3 electrical qualification.

They will be dealing with all of the sites planned and reactive maintenance which will include;Emergency lighting, compliance checks, ahu maintenance, plant room maintenance, light fittings, water testing etc

This is a static position so there will not be a company van

Requirements

• Strong background in Commercial Building Services Maintenance
• Based in a commutable distance to Poole
• Minimum of a level 2 electrical qualification and 18thedition
• Level 3 electrical qualification would be preferred
• Good mechanical maintenance knowledge
