Business Services Engineer

Hertford | Building services | Permanent | Full time

Up to £39,000 per annum - electrical qualification essential, relevant experience necessary

40 hours per week

As a Building Services Engineer at our Hertford Gym, you’ll hold an electrical qualification (to 17th edition or equivalent) and have a good knowledge of Building Management systems. You should also have experience with emergency lighting testing, PAT, water hygiene, and other compliance areas in a large industrial unit.

Responsibilities of a Building Services Engineer include:

• Managing the entire site, including the building shell and surrounding grounds

• Maintaining facilities such as swimming pools, mechanical plant, air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems

• Addressing queries and issues securely and effectively using an electronic CAFM system

• Leading by example to inspire the team towards continuous improvement

• Applying hands-on experience and technical skills to operate an effective preventative maintenance program

• Developing your skills and those of your team to build a strong, capable team
