Job summary

Innovus is seeking an Associate Director - Building Safety in Worcester to lead the Building Safety and Remediation function within Asset Management. You will provide strategic direction, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee a team of up to five direct reports, coordinating with clients and external partners to deliver safe, compliant building management solutions.

Qualifications

Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Preferably TPI/RICS qualified with 10+ years’ experience working with ground rent/residential portfolios.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with Building Safety strategy and PAP/AP responsibilities as appropriate.
Oversee compliance with Building Safety Act 2022 and Higher-Risk Building regime requirements.
Lead the Building Safety and Remediation team to deliver service excellence.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders (technical consultants, contractors, project managers).
Develop building safety policies, procedures and governance within the Asset Management scope.
Oversee building safety data, risk registers and records management.
Contribute to remediation programmes and ensure reporting on safety risks.
Review quality and accessibility of building safety information for client reporting.
Produce detailed recommendation reports and ensure KPI delivery.
Deliver relevant KPIs as per the Asset Management Agreement.
