A prominent property management firm is seeking a Building Manager in Greater London to oversee operations of a large site exceeding 200,000 sq ft. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus, manage service charge budgets, and ensure health and safety compliance. Building strong relationships with tenants and service partners is crucial for this role. My client, a notable Managing Agent, is looking for a Building Manager to oversee operations of a site in excess of 200,000sq ft. Key that you are "customer focused" and also deliver on ESG, NET Zero and SMART buildings. You will have an ABM reporting to you on site.
You will have previous experience in looking after a site of a similar scale as well as exposure to setting and managing service charge budgets as well as overseeing health and safety on site, therefore an IOSH or NEBOSH are also essential.
As well as management of service partners on site you will be required to engage with the end users (tenants) on a daily basis. It is imperative that clear lines of communications are forged whether written or verbal in order to operate this flagship site.
The level of service delivery is very much focused on the tenant experience and partnering with service partners, to create a "one team ethos" so being "customer centric" is vital to this role.
