Job summary

Arcus FM Limited in Redditch is seeking an experienced Building Manager to oversee our Head Office and National Operations Centre. You will ensure the smooth operation of our estate, deliver excellent facilities and security management, and support our clients and colleagues.

Key duties include budget management, contractor oversight, visitor processing, and coordinating with internal teams. The role may require travel to other offices; a driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building.
• Understanding of FM building requirements.
• Strong IT skills; familiarity with MS Office, Verisae, Aeromark.
• Experience managing contractors.
• Flexible, proactive with prioritisation.
• Attention to detail.
• Calm under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Highly organised and effective workflow.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Compliance qualifications such as IOSH or asbestos awareness would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Arcus for clients, visitors and colleagues.
• Oversee all building operations and budget delivery.
• Support Helpdesk and Planning from Redditch HQ.
• Manage sub-contractors and visitor sign-in and badges.
• Develop processes and ensure KPI targets are met.
• May travel to other sites; driving licence essential.
