Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is seeking an experienced Building Manager for our Head Office and National Operations Centre in Redditch. You will be the face of Arcus for clients, visitors and colleagues, responsible for all building operations, delivering a great working environment while managing budget and service levels.

Based in Redditch, you will oversee contractors, sign-in procedures and KPI-driven facilities management, with potential travel to other sites and remote management where required.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build relationships effectively and quickly.
• Understanding of FM building requirements and support services.
• Strong IT skills and awareness of Microsoft Office, Verisae and Aeromark systems or other work order management systems.
• The skills to effectively manage Contractors and their performance.
• A flexible approach, be proactive and able to prioritise effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to stay outwardly calm under pressure to meet deadlines.
• A highly organised and personally effective way of working.
• Great verbal and written communication skills.
• Formal compliance qualifications e.g. IOSH, legionella/asbestos awareness would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building operations at Redditch head office and national centres.
• Manage sub-contractors and visitors, sign-in/out procedures and visitor badges as required.
• Ensure budget adherence and KPI delivery for facilities and security.
• Coordinate room bookings and support occupants with building services.
• Occasional travel to other Arcus sites and remote management when needed.
