Job summary

Virtu Property is seeking a Maintenance Operative to service residential and communal properties across our portfolio. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while working independently across multiple sites.

A full UK driving licence is essential; fluent English is required, and you will enjoy a range of benefits including 21 days holiday, a company vehicle, pension, and access to our academy for development.

Qualifications

• Holds a full, valid UK Driving Licence
• Fluent level of English; able to communicate effectively with customers, team members and other contractors professionally, as appropriate
• Competence in maintenance skills such as painting; decorating; carpentry; general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance services across residential and communal properties.
• Carry out multi-skilled repairs including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and grounds maintenance tasks.
• Identify and report defects, safety concerns, and opportunities for remedial works.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures and company standards.
• Maintain accurate job records, service reports, and vehicle checks.
• Provide a professional, reliable service while working independently across multiple sites.
