Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking a Mobile Building Facilities Assistant to provide cleaning and janitorial support in Stewartry schools. You will join a dynamic team, travelling within catchment areas to keep buildings safe, clean and welcoming for pupils and staff.

We're now looking for a Building Facilities Assistant to join our friendly, supportive team.
We will train you to be part of our dynamic and reactive customer facing building facilities team who will travel within an agreed catchment area of Stewartry to provide essential cleaning and janitorial tasks in our schools
About the roleYou'll be part a dynamic, customer facing facilities team, providing essential janitorial and cleaning support to help keep the school safe, clean and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Your duties will include:
You’ll work both independently and as part of a small team, using a proactive, organised, and methodical approach.
Working HoursYou will be required to work 30 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year, working 5 over 7 days per week (as directed by line manager)
This post is fixed term for up to 18 months.

What we OfferThis post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
