Job summary

Kirkpatrick Flemming Primary School in Scotland is seeking a Cleaner (Permanent) to join the Dumfries and Galloway Council cleaning team. The role is term-time with 14.5 hours per week, 3pm–5:54pm, over 39.8 weeks per year.

Training is provided and the post sits on Band 1 with a salary of £9,018.70 per year. You'll help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors, with duties including cleaning classrooms and public areas, upholding hygiene standards and

We're looking for a Cleaner to join our friendly, supportive team at Kirkpatrick Flemming Primary School. The role is ideal if you are looking for term-time, family-friendly hours in a job where your work is valued and appreciated.

About the role

You'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. No previous experience is required - full training will be provided.

Your duties will include:

• * Cleaning classrooms, corridors, washrooms, and shared areas


• * Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety


• * Supporting service improvements through our Find it Clean, Keep it Clean ethos


• * Working independently with support from the wider team

Working hours

14.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 2h54minutes a day, 3pm-5.54pm)
39.8 weeks per year
