Job summary

Dumfries and Galloway Council's Dalbeattie Learning Campus is seeking a Cleaner on a fixed-term basis to help maintain a clean, safe environment for pupils and staff. The role offers term-time hours (12.25 per week, 39 weeks per year) with full training provided and no previous experience required.

You will clean classrooms, corridors and washrooms, uphold hygiene standards, and contribute to our Find it Clean, Keep it Clean ethos.

We're looking for a Cleaner to join our friendly, supportive team at Dalbeattie Learning Campus. This role is ideal if you are looking for term-time, family-friendly hours in a job where your work is valued and appreciated.

About the role
You'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. No previous experience is required - full training will be provided.

Your duties will include:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, washrooms, and shared areas
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
• Supporting service improvements through our Find it Clean, Keep it Clean ethos
• Working independently with support from the wider team

Working hours
12.25 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
39 weeks per year
This post is a fixed term maternity cover post for up to 12 months. This post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.
