Job summary

Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking a Mobile Building Facilities Assistant to provide cleaning and janitorial support in Stewartry schools. You will join a dynamic team, travelling within catchment areas to keep buildings safe, clean and welcoming for pupils and staff.

You will work 30 hours per week, across 5 days, with full training and access to local benefits. A driving licence is required to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Reliable and detail-oriented individual with good communication skills.
• Customer-focused approach with ability to work in a team or independently.
• A current driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning and janitorial tasks to a high standard.
• Support daily building safety checks and health & safety procedures.
• Assist the Lead Occupier with safe operation of premises.
• Support energy efficiency and responsible building usage.
• Liaise professionally with staff and service users.
